Speech Therapy

Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is a profession dedicated to helping people strengthen their ability to communicate and to address challenges with speech, voice, language, and even swallowing. Through speech therapy, we look at the many ways people share and receive information—whether through spoken words, written language, or nonverbal communication.

Therapy may focus on areas such as speech sounds (articulation, fluency, voice, resonance, intonation, and rate), language skills (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics), receptive and expressive language (including reading and writing), as well as non-verbal tools like facial expression, gestures, and eye contact.

At its core, speech-language therapy is about building confidence, connection, and independence by making communication clearer, easier, and more effective for people of all ages.
